Whose say robots has no feeling? Well... at least, this robot have that, because it is a super robot which controled by a boy for exchange it socialization in a touchful drama directed by Takahiko Akiyama. Saturo (Hongo) is a elementary school student who had a difficult fate in his young age. In a car accident, he lost his mother where that happen. And his father, Kaoru (Nakamura) and he survived although he get fatally broken and must be sit on a tire-chair. Since that happen, he like to be alone and won't go came out from his room. Also for his school and his playing. All days belong in his room. His relation to his father geting worst because he still blame his father for the accident. The caused, he never communicate again like usually father and son.

Sad seeing his son, the father who scientic then created a super robot that can controled by Satoru for replacing he to go to school and playing, because Satoru can ordering that robot everything only from a set of computer integrated in his room without go away from his room.

The super robot that looks like Honda's Asimo named Hinokio, based by the name Pinokio, the connection between Satoru and the outside environment. So send Hinokio to school as Satoru's stunt man. For the begining, the come of the robot for study very strange and pay attentions. So make naughty kids at the Satoru/Hinokio's school often disturbing and make play it. Also rarely do a phisical attack to that robot. But Satoru/Hinokio faced that calm, more because he interested in one of that kids named Jun (Tabe), who looking sweety, first time Satoru unsure is Jun is a boy or a girl because the phisically before he order Hinokio see Jun's underware.

From that, the deep relation made between Satoru/Hinokio and Jun. As a weird couple, they spent the time together. Fishing, see the stars in the sky, also talking about everything like life; death; and love. By Hinokio eyes, all seem really real for Satoru.

When Satoru feel everything gone to be perfect, although only enjoy from monitor and sensor, Jun leave the town and exchange school without saying good bye. Once again, Satoru feel the world unfair to him. Plus the relation with his father more worst, Satoru then send Hinokio for suicide mission. By the way, that is have a incredible sensitive sensor connected to his brain taht can caused fatal to Satoru body if Hinokio really do "harakiri".
